A country was born in 1914
She celebrated her hundred years of existence in 2014
So many thinks all is for nothing
She has failed,therefore, should be put to death
She seem too poor to survive despite her abundant flow of wealth
This is cruel, I must say
We shouldn't let anger hold sway
We must find a way,for there is definitely a way
If we are determined,we would find a way
Forget the Feud,forget the crisis
It gets us to no where,but a state of clashes
Youth blazing with fire as their sanity crashes
All for nothing they die in battle as teeth gnashes
In regret of their loss their relatives moan in ashes
This is a vicious circle that has repeated itself in our lives
Leaving the youth confused,depressed not sure as his life nose dives
He continues to fall,hopelessly without a helping hand around
No job,no work,no show,absolutely nothing on ground
Despite all odds,we must find a way to make our country great again
We got to think ,create and meditate on how to reduce losses and make a gain
No country develops without her youth in control of affairs
We got to stand and fight for our place in nation building that's only fair
Our country is all we got, running abroad is no cure,let's face the facts and be fair
Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country,you hear?
I'm black and proud,can beat my chest anywhere,for I'm proudly Nigerian you hear?
Only the positive can see anything positive,aren't you one my friend?
Be you Hausa,be you Ibo, be you Yoruba,what matters is Naija!
We got to move out strong, march out firmly as ONE against all forms of setbacks in Naija
Where it Green,White,Green,bro,chin up chest out let's set out to battle O' Patriots of Naija
God's grace,we will win,so celebrate O' Nigerians for its a new dawn in Naija!
God bless Nigerians,God bless my country, God bless NAIJA!
